If you would like to attend law school, there are no specific majors required. Business, criminology, English, history,
sociology, philosophy and political science are common majors. The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences offers a
minor in agricultural law.
While students enter law school from a broad array of academic areas, prospective applicants are expected to be well read and to have a strong foundation in communication skills, both written and verbal.
More information on pre-law preparation is available from the Academic Advising Center.
