UF students learn from a varity of resources, including their cultures, families, personal histories, books, professors, courses and each other. In addition to the university's programs and support services, there also are institutes at the university that support and promote multicultural learning experiences.
- The Institute of Hispanic/Latino Cultures (La Casita) serves as the central station for more than 50 Hispanic-Latino student organizations on campus. The Hispanic Student Association, with more than 1,000 members, actively advocates Hispanic participation in collegiate activities and programs, and is the largest minority organization at UF.
- The Institute of Black Culture presents programs that provide educational awareness and information on issues that relate to black culture. For 33 years, the IBC has provided educational, social and cultural programs to share the history and culture of those of African descent. Today it serves as an umbrella to the more than 50 African-American student organizations, as well as a meeting place for African-American students.
- The National Pan-Hellenic Council serves all of UF's historically black Greek fraternities and sororities, including Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Sigma Gamma Rho, Zeta Phi Beta, Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Kappa Phi Lambda, Iota Phi Theta, Phi Delta Psi, Phi Beta Sigma, Omega Psi Phi and Theta Nu Xi multicultural.
- The Multicultural Greek Council is the governing body uniting the multicultural Greek organizations. These include Gamma Eta, Lambda Theta Alpha, Sigma Lambda Gamma, Theta Nu Xi, Kappa Phi Lambda and Delta Phi Omega sororities, and Pi Delta Psi, Lambda Alpha Upsilon, Lambda Theta Phi Latin, Sigma Lambda Beta International and Sigma Beta Rho fraternities.
- UF's multicultural organizations and events are actively promoted and advised by the Dean of Students Office. All students are encouraged to participate and to get involved, for a campus as diverse as UF offers a wide range of multicultural opportunities and events.
