At UF, You Can Expect an Affordable Quality Education

Scholarships - The university is committed to providing a quality educational program at an affordable cost. Scholarships are a means to defray the cost of tuition for qualified students. The following scholarship programs are available:

  • National Achievement Scholarships for the recruitment of African-American achievement finalists who are beginning freshmen. National Achievement finalists and semifinalists should contact Rebecca Johnson at rsjohnson@admissions.ufl.edu, 352-392-1365, ext. 7338, for information.
  • Partner School Opportunity Alliance Scholarships for the recruitment of beginning freshmen from one of UF’s partner high schools: Jacksonville’s William M. Raines and Jean Ribault high schools, Orlando’s Maynard Evans and Jones high schools, Miami's Miami High and Miami Carol City High School.
  • National Merit Scholarships for the recruitment of merit finalists who are beginning freshmen. National Merit finalists and semifinalists should contact Rebecca Johnson at rsjohnson@admissions.ufl.edu, 352-392-1365, ext. 7338, for information.
  • Presidential Tiered Scholarships for recruitment of a diverse student body of learners and thinkers. The recipients are selected by a committee each spring on the basis on academic standing as well as community service, leadership and extracurricular activities.
