Florida Days 2019 will take place in March and in April of 2019 for the 2019 Freshman class. This is a one-day event at the J. Wayne Reitz Student Union on the University of Florida campus. The program is for newly admitted freshman Gators and one family member. Florida Days is for students and their family members who haven't committed to UF and are seeking more information about the opportunities our university has to offer. This is an invitation only event, and space is limited.
Newly admitted Gators will be able to register using a registration link they will receive via email. This will be the first opportunity to register and the window will remain open until the registration close date or until it is at capacity.
Families should coordinate their schedules and discuss among themselves which event date would work best for the newly admitted student and their two family member/guest before registering. In order to ensure that registration goes smoothly and that event dates don't fill to capacity prematurely, only one family member per family (preferably the newly admitted student) should register. For registration changes and cancellations see the FAQ.

May I bring more than two guests?
As much as we would like to have more of the newly admitted Gator family attend, due to venue space limitations, we can only accommodate one student and two family members.
How do I register for Florida Days?
Newly admitted Gators will be able to register using a registration link they will receive via email. Although parents of the newly admitted may receive an invite as well, the registration link will only be sent to the student's email. The registration can only be held in the newly admitted student's name and each student may bring up to two guests.
Is there a waitlist? Can I register after registration closes or after a date reaches capacity?
We strongly encourage invitees to register early before their preferred date fills to capacity. In the event that your preferred date for Florida Days fills up, a waitlist option will appear. Fill out the information to be put on the waitlist. If a seat has opened up due to a cancellation, we will register you and notify you via email of your new registration. Due to the fact that our office will need 5 business days to properly prepare for the upcoming event day, you will not be able to register past the posted "registration close date" for each event date.
Are walk-on registrations accepted for Florida Days and Destination UF?
Attendance can only be guaranteed for invitees who have registered. Walking-on will only be allowed after confirming at the check-in/registration table on the day of the event. Once the registration manager determines that there is space to walk on, you may participate in the program that day.
Can I change or cancel my registration?
You will be allowed to change your registration by the "registration close date" as long as the new date that you want is available. Call 352-392-9960 in order to make adjustments to your registration. Only one registration can be held at a time per newly admitted student * Please note that weekly reports will be generated to identify and delete duplicate registrations.
