The largest number of freshmen applicants are residents of Florida as a testament to our commitment as a land-grant institution to residents of our state. The two states from which we receive more than 1,000 out-of-state applicants are New Jersey and New York. These states and the remaining top feeder states have remained consistent since 2017.
Our top five applicant feeder counties are Miami-Dade (4,105), Broward (3,765), Palm Beach (2,641), Orange (2,326) and Hillsborough (2,230). These feeder counties remain consistent from 2017 with increased admissions from each county.
