After You Are Admitted

Steps after you're

admitted:

1

Respond to offer of admission.

After viewing your decision on Check Status, return to the main application status page and click "Your Response to Offer of Admission." This will give you the option to either "Accept" or "Decline" your offer of admission and then submit the form.

Note: The Response form will be available 15 minutes after viewing your decision.

2

Get Your Gator Credentials.

As a new student, you will need a UF identification number (UFID) to perform many necessary functions. You can locate your UFID by clicking the “Click here for UFID” link on your application status page. Log in using your MyAdmissions credentials.

3

Create your Gatorlink.

A few days after you are admitted, you will receive an automated email that will prompt you to create your Gatorlink username and password. This account name is public and is used as your access to most UF information systems as well as will become your UF email address.

4

Access Your Official UFL Email.

GatorMail is the email service for our university and is the best way to stay in contact with your professors, advisors and others who are here to help you stay organized.

5

Get your GATORONE Card.

Upload a clear head/shoulders photo of yourself at the GATORONE website. Your GATORONE card is your official campus photo ID that allows you access many campus services. Questions? Phone 352-392-8343

7

Submit Immunization Information.

Every new UF student is required to show proof of having health insurance and certain immunizations before arriving on campus. To register for classes, students must submit a completed UF Mandatory Immunization Health History form. If needed, these immunizations may be obtained from the Student Health Care Center on the UF campus in Gainesville. Call: 352-294-2925.

Send UF your final transcripts.

All offers of admission are tentative until the Office of Admissions receives your final college transcripts. Make arrangements to send your final college transcripts to our office, as your school may not automatically do this.

Official transcripts can be sent to UF in two ways: paper transcript received by UF in a sealed envelope or electronic transcripts sent from your institution directly to UF, which can save up to two weeks response time. UF accepts electronic transcripts through FASTER, Parchment, National Student Clearing House, ScribbleSoft, e-Scrip Safe, Credential Solutions, SCOIR or Transcripts Plus. The email address for electronic transcripts is te@admissions.ufl.edu
