On Saturday, July 27 the University of Florida opened its doors to over 1,000 high school seniors and their families.
UF Open House is an annual event hosted by the Office of Admissions to welcome interested students to campus and give them a glimpse of what life looks like as a Gator. Attendees had the opportunity to create a schedule that reflected their interests, as well as participating in group sessions to learn more about admissions, financial aid and involvement opportunities available to students on campus. The accompanying Engagement Fair connected students and families directly with a range of departments and organizations.
The format for Open House 2019 offered a morning and afternoon session, allowing more students to register than ever before. Although the opening presentations were separated, both programs joined together during the information sessions and Engagement Fair.
If you weren’t able to attend Open House, you can still get the info! Schedule a tour to visit us in-person any time during the week.
